"Her name is Hope, and she used to be a stray. After a year of roaming she found her forever home. Now she's waiting for her favorite human to return from school, on the same spot where they met for the first time. The bus stop was deserted and a soft warm breeze rustled the leaves on the trees. Hope enjoyed a quick peaceful nap while waiting."
This is from my 30 min Speedpaint series artwork #6 This is another drawing where I started with some bright "natural" colors and then adjusted them for a more dramatic effect. The goal of the series is to follow the instinct and not over plan the drawings. I love sunsets and find them incredibly calming, this is probably why I thought of drawing a cat.
