For this city, I didn’t try to rewrite Agra as a whole. I chose to stay with the monument — the one image that has carried centuries of devotion, grief, and impossible beauty.
Instead of reinventing it, I tried to understand it. To translate its geometry through my own language, to let its curves and symmetry breathe inside my root shapes, to honor the weight of what it represents without copying it.
The Taj Mahal is both a tomb and a declaration of love. A paradox in stone. And in my series, it becomes a reminder that cities are shaped not only by power and history, but also by grief, memory, and the lengths humans go to preserve what they love.
