Inspired by Courbet’s Le Désespéré, this work explores the fragile state of mind that often lives between inspiration and paralysis.
It’s a reflection on impostor syndrome, that invisible weight carried by every creator at some point.
The figure kneels, surrounded by unfinished shapes: fragments of thought, of doubt, of silence.
It’s a self-portrait in essence, not of appearance, but of the moments when I lose the ability to create, when the need itself fades.
A quiet conversation between despair and acceptance, between the pressure to create and the courage to simply exist within the pause.
First work. Part of a small series of 3 works "The Burden of Becoming"
